February 5th-
Seascapes and Ocean Photography Presentation - Shane Chalker will talk about photography of Seascapes and the
Ocean. Please bring 2 or 3 prints that you would like discussed.

March 5th-
How to make Sharp Selections and Montage Workshop. The various tools available to make a sharp or cut out
selection will be discussed, as well as feathering and, finally, moving the selection.

April 2nd-
A Painters View of Photography Presentation/Cate McGowan, painter and photographer, will talk about photography
from a painter's perspective, and will discuss some of our prints with this in mind. Cate is a professional
painter and also teaches painting. Please bring along some of your prints that you would like discussed. Please
bring your Low Light Photography. Please bring your camera to discuss and experiment with low light
photography.

May 7th-
Composition Workshop Discussion and demonstration on improving composition techniques in camera, and in post
editing. Please email or bring 2-3 prints for discussion.

Antarctic Adventure Presentation

Revisit Sharpening Workshop A refresher workshop on sharpening techniques

July 2nd-
Lenses Presentation. Philip Ramsden will give us a talk on Lenses, their choice and use. Philip is well known
to camera clubs all over Australia. His knowledge, built on his work and experience, is extensive and no one
presents this subject better.

August 6th-
Scott Calvin Presentation Scott Calvin will share with us the results of combining photography and hang
gliding from a trip to Indonesia.

September 3rd-
Pictures Framed Workshop Graham Ryan, from Pictures Framed, will discuss Borders, Masks and Frames. Please
bring your own prints, boards, cutters, masks etc and learn the best way to present your images.

October 1st-
It’s all Greek Presentation Ian and Joan will present images from a recent excursion to Greece

Ink Jet Printing Workshop - An introduction to getting the best results when printing photographic images on a
home printer.

November 5th-
Photo Restoration Workshop - This will include tone and contrast adjustment colour correction, cloning and
patching.

Annual Christmas Party and judging of the Print and Slide of the Year
